Access Consultancy

I have worked as an access consultant, specialising in audio description consultancy for companies including Sheffield Theatre, Hydrocracker Theatre, Royal & Derogate & Inside Theatre. I also sit on the Visually Impaired focus group in association with DANC.

I have spoken at panels for Leeds Playhouse Theatre For Change: Access Shouldn't Be An Afterthought Symposium, Contact Theatre 55 hours project, GM Access panel and provide access training for The Lowry and 20 Stories High.

I am incredibly passionate about the creativity of access and believe it is an integral way for productions to seamlessly intertwine access into the infrastructure of the theatrical landscape.
I have worked as a creative captioner consultant for Ransack Theatre and Inside Theatre as well as creating the captions for Past Life's National Tour.

Youth Practitioner

I have spent several years facilitating spaces for young people. Youth theatre is not only a great space for young people to engage in art, but it is also incredibly important for young people’s development. From confidence building to social skills youth theatre is a safe place for children to find themselves. I have worked with Burnely Youth Theatre, National Youth Theatre, Preston Youth Theatre, Young Everyman and Playhouse and Footlights stage school.

Get Directing

Get Directing! is a scheme which is actively exploring ways to encourage young people to see themselves as future directors whether of theatre, film or virtual forms of story-telling. Exciting possibilities are opening up all the time.

My passion as a director come from within the community and how theatre can positively make a change for young people's lives. This project is very exciting, getting to work closely with a teacher to help them feel positive, inspired and ready to make a change to young people is a unique and very rewarding experience.

RYTDS / Royal Exchange Theatre
